Joseph asks…

What are the best acne treatments for under $20 that i can get at a grocery store?

I am a 16 year old boy and have had minor to moderate acne for the last two years. Recently my acne has been getting worse and i dont have much money to spend on acne treatments. I shower twice a day and use non-acne facewash during these showers. I wash my sheets and pillow cases once a week. Im a sophmore in highschool, so I have a pretty decent stress level. I dont have the option to buy acne products online or off of tv comercials because my dad is unemployed so i am on a strict budget and he doesnt like useing a credit card, I also dont realy have the option to go to the doctor because of this. Im tierd of looking dirty and oily and in desperately in need of clearer skin. I dont mind dry skin or irritation just as long as it will get rid of my acne. ive got prety much all form of acne (zits, blackheads, white heads, blemishs, marks from acne, you name it). Please help me if you can.

AcneFree from walmart or target is about 16 or 17 bucks. But non of that will work like proactiv. Acne free is the closest you’ll get.

Please give me products that can be bought in Drug Stores ( Walmart, London Drugs ) I don’t live in the US so i can’t go to Target or Walgreens etc.. :) thanks!

help! what face wash/acne treatment should i buy?

im going to the store in 30 minutes and have no clue. i have combo skin and moderate acne. ive tried a lot of things even iq derma! what works best for you?

Ben answers:

Try using Acne Free from Walmart. It’s compared to, and even supposed to be stronger, than ProActive. I’ve been using it for 2 years now and my face has dramatically improved, without over drying or side affects. Good luck!

Bob asks…

Best acne facial washes?

from your experience, which acne face washes work the best?? things that you can buy at a store, not proactive or anything.

Ben answers:

For me, I only use my acne treatment at the night so I like a regular face wash that does not have any acne medication in it, does not scrub, does not irritate and does not dry out my skin.

I use Cetaphil’s Gentle Skin Cleanser.

Good Luck!
