Why are persian girls so worried about physical appearance?

I know many Persian people and whenever we go out they all take like 2 hours just to get ready even if its just a movie where its too dark to see people neways.
I know these are just the people I know personally and not EVERY Persian. but out of all my friends and acquaintances, its almost only the persian girls who always have to have their hair fixed, match perfectly head to toe, wear 3 pounds of makeup, and they always have to comment on how smooth their legs are or how little body hair they have.
I’m the sarcastic type of person and so are they we joke all the time about anything and thats why I love hanging out with them so much but then if someone says a joke about their appearance you can tell they get really angry. A guy made a joke about his dog (who got shaved) has more hair then (persian girls name) has on her entire body, it was meant as a funny compliment, and she got super offended and was like what are you talking about i don’t have any hair on my body, she laughed awkwardly and later on that night had some kind of breakdown. Im just like, calm down we all shave our legs and have some kind of body hair it’s not a secret!

I think they are good looking people just like the rest of my white, Indian, European etc friends but the fact that they put so much stress on appearance and are always talking about how hot they are is just such a turn off, I don’t know how much more I can take.

So WHY do they feel like they have to point out to everyone how hot and perfect they are, its not like they are ugly people to start??

p.s. i say persian Girls because the guys I know are just a lot more naturally confident and down to earth

why Arab, persian and Jewish girls look really ugly with bulky anatomy?
